Overview

Originally from the Youngstown, Ohio, area. David comes from a long line of blue collar work, which includes his great grandfather working as a steelworker for Youngstown Sheet and Tube, and both of his grandfathers working as assemblers at the Lordstown General Motors plant. This proud family history has had an impact on David since he was a child, and has fueled his passion to represent working class individuals.

David obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2018, where he studied International Affairs, specializing in French and the Sub-Saharan region of Africa. Throughout his college years, he has interned in the United States House of Representatives in Washington, DC, and the Ohio General Assembly, in Columbus, Ohio.

David then attended Capital University Law School and earned his Juris Doctor in 2023. He began his legal career at Malek & Malek as a Law Clerk in 2021, and has continued his work as a practicing attorney since obtaining his licensure.

David lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys watching Jeopardy, attending Cincinnati Reds baseball games, and enjoying time with his family. He also enjoys yearly trips to the island of Mauritius, where his wife is originally from.
